Nuclear Medicine Consulting revolves around routine visits where the radiation safety and licensing program is audited checking over 50 items of compliance. Our reviews include radioactive materials license management, calibration and testing of dose calibrators and well counters, accreditation testing of cameras, inventory and wipe testing of radioactive sources, accredited in-service education programs, dosimetry and ALARA investigations, calibration of GM meters, attendance of Radiation Safety Meeting if coincident with the visit and annual ALARA Reviews.

We are always available for questions and needs that may arise between visits.

AMP prepares signature ready radioactive materials license applications, amendments and, as needed, shielding calculations and fetal dose estimates. We also consult to PET Nuclear Pharmacies, commercial nuclear pharmacies, veterinary hospitals, museums, and industry.

We work with the Radiation Safety Officers, technologist staff and leadership to assure the most economical and safe use of radioactive materials and imaging equipment.
